ABOUT THE SONG

This song came to me in the Summer of 2024. I was standing in the kitchen, making a salad and thinking about what I might sing at my solstice singing circle a couple of weeks later. I was thinking about how special it would be to bring people together for this purpose and this song was born, in it’s entirety moments later!

It’s a lively folk song with a slight sea shanty feel and it’s really good to sing out loud with a group outdoors!
